Gosberton Bank Nursery is the largest freesia nursery in Britain. We grow over 1 million freesia stems per annum and also produce 400,000 lilies.
The nursery is family-owned and managed by Rosemary and Leslie. All flowers are bunched and packed by a team of 5 with over 60 years' experience preparing freesia to exacting standards.
We grow numerous varieties of freesia, many with an attractive scent. We work 7 days a week to ensure the flowers are harvested at the optimum stage.
Before our flowers leave the nursery, they are sorted and graded. Only the best stems are dispatched, having been pampered with flower food, chilled for greater freshness on delivery and placed in flower-friendly boxes for posting.

 Freesia are grown from corms, which require careful handling to ensure a successful crop.  The corms are planted in density-controlled beds and covered by crop-support nets.  As the flower buds develop, the netting is raised to support the stems. |
 Lilies are planted at precise densities to ensure optimum growth.  The lilies are watered automatically as they develop.  Once ready, the stems are harvested individually to order. |
